ACTIVITIES:
Social Playtime
This includes your pet(s) playing with other size appropriate dogs in one of our large play yards for approximately 30-45 minutes. This feature of boarding makes your pet's stay more like a camp! Most dogs really enjoy socializing with other dogs as well as stretching their legs and running around! This activity is for pets that are good with other dogs. Full males over the age of 6 months and females in heat are not allowed to participate in social playtime. Social playtime is a $5.00 charge per session per kennel.
Private Playtime
This includes your pet(s) playing in one of our large play yards by themselves for approximately 15 minutes. This is a good activity for pets that do not get along well with other dogs, full males over the age of 6 months, or females in heat. Private playtime is a $5.00 charge per session per kennel.
Geriatric Playtime
This includes your pet(s) playing in one of our large play yards with other older pets for approximately 20-25 minutes. This is a good activity for the older pets that need to get up and move around, but not be out with more rambunctious pets. This is not a good activity for pets that still have lots of energy and want to play rough or jump around. Geriatric playtime is a $5.00 charge per session per kennel.
Personal TLC Sessions
Give your pet a little bit of extra "one on one" attention in addition to our standard level of care. You may choose either personal playtime, a nature walk, or love time. Each 10 minute session is $8.00 and includes personalized attention from one of our pet care technicians. Personal playtime and love time is charged per kennel. A nature walk is charged per dog.
MEDICATIONS:
All medications are a $2.00 charge per administration if given during our normal business hours. If you request medications to be given after hours, it is a $4.00 charge per administration. Please make sure your pet’s medications are clearly labeled with your pet’s name, the correct dosage, and the number of times given per day. Make sure you bring plenty of medication for the duration of your pets stay. It is always good to send extra medication in case of an emergency. Please inform us at check in, why your pet is on medication so that we have a good understanding of his/her medical history.
Diabetic pets are welcome. It is a $6.00 charge per shot which includes the feeding. Please make sure you bring plenty of insulin and needles for the duration of your pets stay. We require a new needle to be used for each shot given.
FEEDING:
We feed once a day, in the afternoon, between 1:30-3:00pm and give each pet a biscuit/treat every morning, which is included in your pets boarding rate. We can accommodate additional feedings for a $2.00 charge during our normal business hours. If you request a feeding after hours it is a $4.00 charge. We can feed your food or our food. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, has allergies, or is on a special diet we recommend bringing your own food. If you choose to bring your own food please make sure you bring plenty for the duration of your pets stay. Keep in mind that everyone measures a little differently, some people measure 1 cup heaping and some people measure it level. It is always a good idea to pack extra food just in case. You can either bring your own food in a container, a bag, or you can pack sandwich bags with individual servings for each feeding. If you need your pets food refrigerated, frozen, or heated in a microwave that is not a problem we can do it!
We give out treats everyday. Our treats usually include, but are not limited to, milkbones, pig sticks, rawhides, and chicken strips. If your pet has any allergies or cannot have certain items you must let us know at check in. If your pet is not allowed to have any other food or treats please make sure you bring treats from home. If your pet has favorite treats or chew bones you are more than welcome to bring those for their stay.
GERIATRIC OR AGGRESSIVE PETS:
We are one of the few facilities equipped with staff to care for Geriatric and Aggressive pets. Because these clients require considerable more resources, time, and often special care from our Management there will be an additional $10.00 per day charge. The guidelines to indicate if your pet is subject to this charge include, but are not limited to, the following:
Geriatric pet:
Limited Mobility
If your pet has difficulty getting up or cannot get up your pet will need to be taken out 3+ times a day to relieve themselves. This will help help keep them from losing all mobility.
Incontinence
If your pet is incontinent or refuses to potty on concrete, we must provide them with extra potty breaks as well as clean up baths as often as necessary. Depending on the bathing/grooming services required there might be additional charges. Be sure to ask at check in if you feel this may be a concern.
Aggressive pet:
Fearful Aggression
We are very capable of providing care for fearful pets/fear biters. Many just need to adjust to our routine and they learn quickly that we are friends and not to be feared. If our staff is unable to handle your pet due to fear aggression, only Management will handle this pet and a $10 fee will be assessed.
Dominant Aggression
If your pet shows dangerous aggression to our staff members, only Management will handle them. When providing care for these pets we take extra precautions to insure the health and safety of both our staff and the pet.
If you feel that your pet falls into any of these categories, please let us know when you make the reservation and during your pets check in. If you are unsure if your pet would fall into any of these categories please ask to speak to a Manager.
